Epican's mission is to help establish an international standard in the emerging global cannabis industry; pioneering the mass production of safe and consistent cannabis based products while building a sustainable and healthy industry that respects the environment, local economies and people’s health.
Epican was founded in 2015 and has since opened Kingston’s first and only seed-to-sale medical marijuana store. Epican uses proprietary growing protocols to meet international standards in its certified organic 43,000 sq ft cultivation space which cultivates, produces, distributes and sells both a variety of strains, oils and soon to be edibles. The company is committed to advancing understanding of medical cannabis and has partnered with Jamaica’s Scientific Research Council (SRC) to explore the genetics of Jamaican cannabis strains.
