The Emerald Cup was featured for the first time in California in the early 2000's. Early in his cannabis career, the founder, Tim Blake had a dream of normalizing cannabis in his home area of Mendocino county, California. He sponsored and helped produce the first gathering of law enforcement and cannabis farmers to openly discuss how they would work together.
The 2020 was forced to be held online, but was successfully held again in 2021 as the Harvest Ball. The following Emerald Cup is planned for spring 2022 in Los Angeles.
Tim was the co-founder of the Mendocino Farmers Collective and Healing Harvest Farms, both local cannabis dispensaries designed to help facilitate getting outdoor cannabis into the dispensaries across the state.
The Emerald Cup started as the largest competition of outdoor marijuana growers, and years later, is still the most visited cannabis event in the world. Organized anually in mid-december, it is one of the top events to add to your cannabis bucket list. Scroll to the bottom of this page to read and write reviews for The Emerald Cup.
