Synonymous with the word "coffeeshop", The Bulldog is one of the oldest shops in the city. This one is a little more cozy and manageable for first timers. Small terrace and good afternoon sun!

a bit of tourist trap

the bulldog chain is really nothing special. vibe was very dark, didnt enjoy my time there and the meny wasent that good. many tourist still visit these places because they can be found at nearly every street coner. do not recomend Full details

​I had tried a couple of the bulldog coffeeshops and each time, there has been a bouncer figure on the door checking ids of which was not very pleasent (even though i am nearly 30) and the dealer obvious didnt care as when we asked questions about the products he gave quick short and answers which made... Once the dealer realised we cared about our weed and wanted to know a bit more, he became friendlier with us as a group

I'm the first to trash touristy coffeeshops and for many, the Bulldog brand is synonymous with this image. I was pleasantly surprised by this one though. Purely for tourists, worth chilling in but not much else, the one in Leidseplein has nice space cake
