Previously a coffeeshop, now a cool smoker friendly bar in the Redlight District.
Once a great coffeeshop, located close to the Centraal Station, just on the border of the redlight district, Funny People lost their coffeeshop license in end of 2013 due to the city's new "afstandscriterium" - forcing coffeeshops located closeby schools to school.
Friendly staff and beer on tap assure a great atmosphere. One of Amsterdam's finest smoking rooms, where you can smoke tobacco and tobacco mixed joints, or pure weed in the common bar area. Note that you are not able to purchase pot here anymore, but are welcome to bring your own.
Funny People will soon start serving snacks and light meals to go with the cold beer.

Great location, great smoke room
I have just gone back to Funny People recently to discover it has lost its weed license and is now a bar. I used to come here always on my way to the train station. Simple with large low tables and flat screens. Clean and bright. Great location just around the corner from the train station.
