Back in 2008 Eddy was arrested for growing around 20,000 cannabis plants in open view of the state highway, while living in Lake County, northern California. A defense was attempted as he claimed the plants were for medical purposes for the Multi Denominational Ministry of Cannabis and Rastafari, this was denied, leaving Eddy no legal defense. He may not be completely free, but atleast now he can enjoy some of the freedoms he has been deprived, and slowly reintegrate into normal life.
